I was sick of going through life on auto-pilot. In order to get out of that lifestyle, I had to figure out what I really wanted out of life, what is important to me and how I want to spend my time here on earth, in this one body and one life. That lead to me formulating a mission statement for my life, my mission statement consists of my values. My values direct me to live my life intentionally and with purpose. They help me prioritize what I want and need to do. They guide me in decision making, both big and small.
