Get Sh*t Done: October 7-10
Uncharted: GSD uses the same vision, attitude, format, and resources as the original Uncharted conference, just with a different subject – and this year from the comfort of your own HOME. Where Uncharted is all about marketing and strategy for brand and practice growth, Uncharted: GSD is all about operations. Time management, staff leadership, and effective in-person communications are the focal points here.
A Unique Experience
The skills, knowledge, conversations, and connections you will get at Uncharted: GSD are unlike what you will find anywhere else. While the educational format at Uncharted: GSD is very similar to the format used at the Uncharted Virtual Marketing and Business Conference, the topics, conference focus, and attendees will differ significantly. You do not need to have attended any previous Uncharted conference to jump right into Uncharted: GSD!
FIND YOUR TRIBE
Our events have a distinct “family feel” that simply can’t be replicated. If you are a passionate veterinary professional who is growing, improving and developing without any intention of slowing down, then you might be a perfect fit. You just need to see the glass as half full, dedicate yourself to working hard, and never stop lifting up your colleagues as they overcome the same obstacles you’ve faced.
2020 WORLD-CLASS INSTRUCTORS
Uncharted: GSD is as much about introducing you to incredible people who have mastered the skills you’re looking for as it is about teaching you what’s on the agenda. Conversations within this group can save you months or years of headaches. Workshops average less than 25 individuals per session, and each attendee has multiple opportunities to attend workshops.
DAY 1 WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7 The Uncharted Veterinary Virtual Conference kicks off at 7 PM ET with opening ceremonies and keynote from Dr. Andy Roark. This virtual banquet will look much like our live event and we invite you to don your finest anchor gear and cook/order your favorite meal as we all celebrate the kickoff of the second GSD!
DAY 2 THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8 To accommodate all times zones, the day’s events begin at 10 am ET. Grab your breakfast or mid-morning snack and start your experience with an inspirational keynote from Dr. Tierra Price on bringing more diversity into vet medicine at 11 am.
Workshops get underway after our morning program at 12:30 PM ET. Our virtual workshops are 100-minute sessions where attendees actually work and create resources/skills that they can take back to their practices and put to use immediately.
Throughout the day we will have fun and ample coffee breaks (with prizes) and time to recharge.
Thursday closes will our amazing and always entertaining Mic Drop talks. We encourage you to bring your dinner and enjoy!
DAY 3 FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9 The morning keynote from Stephanie Goss will begin at 10 AM ET.
Workshops start at 12:30 PM ET, ending at 3:30 PM ET. Plenty of breaks and opportunities for 1-on-1 engagement are available throughout the day.
Round Table Sessions start at 5 PM ET and we’ll have some evening “Sponsor Night Out” activities for everyone.
DAY 4 SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10 Starting at 11 AM ET you will wrap up your virtual conference experience with round table discussions, goal setting and our ever-popular group feedback. You will walk away with a solid plan to put into place as soon as you get back into practice.
MORE ABOUT MIC DROPS
Uncharted Mic Drops are a highlight of the Uncharted Experience. Even though we’ll be virtual this year, the Mic Drop talks will go on as usual! They are 10-minute TED Talk-style presentations from our members about successes, failures and lessons learned in their own practices. We’ve even had a beautiful marriage proposal. Past mic drop talks can be viewed here.
